National IPA Day; Thursday, August 1st

A very new and very special day is almost upon us. This Thursday, August 1st, craft beer fans will celebrate the third annual National IPA Day. National IPA Day was founded in 2011 as a celebration of one of craft beer’s most well recognized styles. This Thursday breweries, beer bars, and growler stores around the country will feature the iconic style. The Wine Spot in Cleveland (http://www.thewinespotonline.com/home.php) will be hosting an event with a tap-takeover, serving pints and samples of hopped-up brews. Around the country, breweries (Sweetwater Brewing of Atlanta and Stone Brewing of San Diego, to name a couple) are hosting events offering tastes of rare and exclusive IPAs. Can’t travel? Celebrate in style at home with some of Ohio’s best offerings. Stay tuned; this week we’ll be serving up some of our favorites from around the Buckeye State. Cheers!
