8 Days of beer and fun starts on February 6th at the annual Cincinnati Beer Week.
The beer scene in Ohio has changed dramatically in the last few years, and one place has brought a twist to the brew pub idea to Ohio. With that we present to the Fifth Street Brew Pub (FSBP). Based on the idea of community, FSBP is the first co-op brewery in Ohio for a good number of years.

Just barely in there second year the brewfest team is rolling out there more personal style of beer festival to the winter beer season. Catch up with the latest news for the Ohio Brewing Company (OBC). Located in Akron, OBC is in the middle of a big transition as a brewery and we catch up with the founder Chris Verich and get some of the details on what is happening. Currently OBC is transitioning out of their old location to build out a new location and get settled in. They have a lot going on and it is great to see the drive and passion coming out of OBC as they take this next step.
We pulled Emily, the head brewer at Portsmouth Brewing Co., away from the fermenters for an interview to learn more about Portsmouth. The Portsmouth Brewing Co. is the oldest brewery in Ohio having it’s founding in 1843. The brewery was resurrected in 1997 by the Mault brothers.
